For San Diego clients, Tepia typically holds the Discovery kickoff, major design reviews, user acceptance testing and Training on site, with the project manager and design lead travelling from Costa Mesa. Tepia follows six phases. Discovery (typically 1 to 3 months, shorter if you bring specs) covers system investigation, user interviews with clinicians, technicians or guests depending on the product, and third party integration review. Deliverables are an Investigation Summary, an Interview Summary and User Stories. Design delivers a design questionnaire, moodboards, a style guide, detailed wireframes and sample designs, with accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA built in.
Development and Testing runs in Alpha and Beta schedules with functional, user acceptance and non functional testing, including security testing for regulated data. Training is hands on, in person or remote, walking through user story scenarios. Launch includes data migration, transition from the old system and Tepia support reps on rollout.
